Festival Matosinhos em Jazz

_ The Matosinhos em Jazz Festival  takes place every weekend in July, at 6pm, at the Bandstand at Parque Basílio Teles, in Matosinhos.  The entrance is free.

The 2024 edition of Matosinhos em Jazz has been confirmed Mário Costa “Chromosome” , Nout Trio,  Moses Boyd , Jasmine Myra, Ego Ella May e Eduardo Cardinho. 

Previous editions had the presence of names such as Yazmin Lacey , Jonathan Ferr, Mário Laginha Trio, Cristina Branco, Elas e o Jazz,  Salvador Sobral, Ricardo Toscano, Joe Armon Jones, Bruno Pernadas, Susana Santos Silva e Inês Pimenta. 

During the month of July, an exhibition with works created by Portuguese artists invited to reinterpret iconic jazz album covers at Parque Basílio Teles, in Matosinhos, and access is free.
